Camp Casey Campout Labor Day Weekend

Camp Casey Campout Labor Day Weekend

The annual Labor Day Campout is coming soon at beautiful Camp Casey in Coupeville!

This is a wonderful opportunity for fellowship with one another and with our sister church, Emmanuel OPC, in Kent. There will be optional group activities, and a Sunday night teaching fellowship with hymn singing at the camp.  If you’re new to the area, Camp Casey campground is a short walk to a west-side beach (think spectacular sunsets!), Fort Casey State Park, and the Coupeville/Port Townsend Ferry. There is also a trail system connected to the north side of the campground.
When: Labor Day Weekend – Friday, September 1 to Monday, September 4

Where: Camp Casey Campground, 1276 Engle Rd., Coupeville, WA.
SGOPC is typically offered Sites 11-16 and Site 18 – these sites come with power and water; sewer hookups are not available. Showers and flush toilets are available in the campground.  See attached maps for details.

Cost: $40/night/site – maximum 6 per site; larger immediate family groups permitted

Deadline: Sign up and pay in full by August 15. Cash or check payable to SGOPC (no electronic payments, please). Payments are non-refundable. Kirsten will accept one payment per site, and please provide her the names of each person who will be attending.
Campfires: As of this writing on July 13, there is a Level 1 burn ban in effect. Campfires are still allowed in designated fire pits. Go to https://www.islandcountywa.gov/625/Outdoor-Burning for the latest updates. Firewood is not provided or sold at camp; plan to bring your own.
Notes: The swimming pool and gym are closed to guests indefinitely. Day visitors are welcome. In the past, those who chose not to spend the night have rented a site to share. Let Kirsten know if you wish to participate in a day-use site sharing arrangement.
